What to do with this coat?

I have a long black leather coat from about 16 years ago. It was in my dads basement and had some dusty mildew/mold on it that wiped off, but it is smelly.

Should I throw it out, get it cleaned to donate, sell it as is, or just keep it in my basement and let my children deal with it when I die?

Donate or consign.  Is there any reason to keep it?  My family has had a little bit of a packrat history (not hoarding!), so I'm all for spring cleaning!

I'd see how much it would be to get it cleaned, and if it was something I could live with, I'd donate it. Otherwise, I'd throw it out.
