SNMOP on the weekends?

How crazy is it? T's never been and I've been wanting to take her now for over a year and the past 4 Fridays we have tried thinking that a week day (before I go back to work)would be less chaotic an allow her to explore more and something had happened every week that has prevented us from going. 1st two weeks we go snow and DH didn't feel like driving an hour in it. Last week I was sick and this week T was sick. Ugh! So I'm now considering going on a Saturday or Sunday. Thoughts?

Re: SNMOP on the weekends?

  • We go on weekends quite a bit. I have to say that it's much busier than the week days. However, I noticed if you get there right at 10 (when they open) I usually have a good 2 hours b/f the real crowds start in. I'll take her to the sesame place and the wegmans first, since they tend to get the most crowded.

  • We live close, so I like to just go for a couple hours. I have gone in the morning and it's not too bad. If you are stayin after lunch though it gets busy. But you are going with your dh too? It shouldn't be too bad then for you. I wouldn't want to take Ellie and Clayton there on my own on a weekend bc Ellie doesn't stay with me well and it would be too busy for that.
  • When we went the last time it was on a Sunday. It was definitely busier than during the week but not horrible.
