We just found out earlier this week that we're expecting LO #2 sometime in late Sept/early Oct. Not sure of the exact EDD yet. DD is 5 months and while we didn't originally plan to have two so close together, I'm really excited. We haven't told anyone yet and I'm not exactly sure how long we'll wait. I am worried about comments, mostly from my husband's family. They weren't particularly happy when we announced we were expecting DD. Of course now they adore her.

Also, my sister in law just shared the news today that they're expecting their first on 9/30. I want to wait to share our news until they get to revel in theirs for a while. Especially since these cousins could definitely end up with the same birthday. Plus, she likes to compare everything and I can already imagine what life is going to be like for these two who are so close in age. 

Regardless, I'm excited that our family is growing and our daughter will have a playmate so soon. I'm also very worried about some of the logistics of having two that are only 13 months apart. I'll definitely be joining in conversations and asking questions here.

Oh wow. I could have written this post! I just found out 3 days ago that we're expecting again. Ours will be 19-20 months apart though. Congratulations and good luck telling everyone. I am also nervous so let us know how it goes!
