Seen on the news the other day...

Helmut-Harry Loewen. He's a professor at a university in Canada that was weighing in as an expert on a story, and from his accent I'm guessing he was German, but I still giggled. Helmut-Harry, hee hee hee.

  • That's an awesome name. Don't know about the Harry tho.

  • Well, that's the most unexpected double-barrel French-Canadian name I have heard! I am used to Jean-Jacques, Jean-Pierre, Marc-Antony, or Paul-Philippe, but nothing with Harry in it! I wonder if he has one parent from Alsace-Lorraine (would explain a German-ish accent) and one non-French Canadian parent or something?
