Anyone on Elecare?

My daughter has been on Elecare for 9 days, and she hates it... She cries, wiggles and pushes the bottle out of her mouth. I only get her to finish once she's exhausted and half asleep. She's also on Prevacid and it seems to be helping quite a bit (refluxing is down, as is the grunting). The crying during the bottle doesn't seem to be one related to pain - she seems mad. 

So if you're on Elecare (or Neocate, for that matter), did they eventually get used to the taste? Did you add anything? I've heard that you can mix the Elecare Jr Vanilla to 20 calorie, but I don't think our GI will be on board. I'm so frustrated... Thanks for any advice!

One of my guys is on Elecare. He won't drink it but he's not a fan of many things by mouth. The Jr comes in vanilla flavor but it's for 1 yr and up. 

 Our nutritionist suggested adding a little natural vanilla and/or Splenda to sweeten the Elecare.

We mix the elecare with breast milk  and that seems to help. We are experimenting with everything and we tried alll elecare the other day and only got projectile vomit. I will have to ask about sweetening it up though - that is a great idea.

Scarlette is on Elecare. She just moved to Elecare Jr but is on the unflavored. She's never had a problem with the taste but I would ask your dr. about mixing it w/pure vanilla. I've heard other Elecare mommies say that helped a lot.
