Anyone get pregnant while on minipill and BF?

I am lurking and have a quick question.  Did any of you get pregnant while BF and on the minipill?  I haven't had AF return yet, but this morning I had some brown streaks after wiping (sorry TMI).  I don't think I ever had implantation bleeding with DS and I probably shouldn't be worrying BUT I have heard stories of getting pregnant while on the minipill. 

If this applies to you, when/how did you know you were preggers?  I never had many symptoms with DS, so I am curious.

I have heard of many people spotting while on the minipill and they aren't pregnant, but if your worried I would use condoms as extra protection, because I have heard that it can happen.  take a test if you think you are pregnant, if it is negative take it again in a week or two just to make sure.  that is the only way to know if you are or not

Yes. I did. I was 9 mo pp, EBFing, on the mini pill and never got a pp period. Guess it was meant to be!

My friend was on the minipill and just found out she's pregnant. She did have spotting which she now things was implantation spotting. Also, minipill has had TONS of headlines about not putting enough whatever in the pill to make it work.

Is it possible that the brown streaks are just the end of your pp bleeding?  My situation is a little different as I wasn't on the minipill, but I had a slight recurrence of pp bleeding between 6-8 weeks.

I BF and got AF two months ago. When AF was done the second month, I got it again the following week and then the week after for about 2 days. Called the doctor and they told me it's possible "breakthrough bleeding". Basically the mini pill only works for 27 hours so if you don't take the pill and the exact same time every day, you may get bleeding. This made sense for me bc this was happening on Mondays. I take the pill at 5:30am on weekdays and around 7-8 on weekends. HTH!

Thanks for the replies, ladies!!  I know the only way to really find out will be a test...I will pick one up next week to be safe.  It could be PP bleeding, but I stopped bleeding at 7 weeks.  I had a little more brownish streaks this morning.  Only time will tell I suppose.  I am guessing its a side effect of the minipill but if not, I will be joining this board I suppose LOL.  Thanks!!

I got pg on mini pill and never having a period. I didn't know I was pg until my nipples were hurting while bfing and was feeling sick.
