I have way too many cooking utensils to put them in a drawer, so smaller ones (measuring spoons, rubber spatula, can opener, ice cream scoop, etc) are in a drawer and larger (serving spoons, ladle, flippers, slotted spoon, meat tenderizer, etc) are in a bucket on the counter. I hate that they are exposed to the air/dust/etc and then just get used on the food.
I need a new way to organize these things, what do you do?
Re: How do you store your kitchen utensils?
All mine are in drawers. The silverware drawer has the ice cream scoop in it (bc I use it daily haha). Then there is one drawer for the smaller stuff - measuring spoons and cups, can opener, jar opener, apple slicer, etc. And 1 drawer for all the big stuff - flippers, spatulas, big plastic spoons.
Reason # 369 that I think we have outgrown our house...not enough drawers!

We just do the bucket thing on the counter too, but our house literally only has one drawer and that has the silverware in it, so that was basically the only option. We got a little drawer thing to put in the one cabinet next to our stove, kind of like this: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=11197310&RN=1011&
but the wooden spoons and spatulas that get used most often just stay out in the open.
