How much bleeding?

I'm barely bleeding after my c section (1 week ago) its just like a very very light period, I thought the bleeding was supposed to be pretty heavy? I'm not complaining just want to make sure it's normal. I did hemorage(sp?) after surgery so maybe I lost most of the blood then?

My bleeding was never very heavy after either of my deliveries (vaginal with my oldest and c-section with the twins) and I was able to use regular pads shortly after coming home. I think it all depends on the woman. I bled for 2.5 weeks after my oldest and 4.5 weeks after the twins.

I bled for 4-5 weeks with both c/s but after the first few days it was very light. I used regular pads for a little while but switched to panty liners pretty quickly.

I think if you have has a section they "clean" you out better than if you went vaginal. There's just less blood. I bled for 3-4 weeks, but it was not heavy at all. Very much so different than what I had heard/expected. It's perfectly normal.

I bled for a total of 6 days and it was never heavy. Normal period down to a light period.
