Sore throat help

What can I do to make my sore throat better? My paper from the doctor's office says to gargle salt water or Robitussin.  Robitussin is not working and salt water makes me almost throw up.  Anything else?

Hot tea with honey, and a tylenol.

My OB said cepacol lozenges were OK.  They would prefer that you wait until 2nd tri to take them but if the pain is too bad, they OK'd them for 1st tri.  Tylenol can also help.

this. maybe a mint tea or something with a cooling/calming effect. also, sucking on ricola or hard mint. hope you feel better soon.
