Buying from Craiglist question

I am going to meet up wtih a local mama who is selling Kissaluv fitteds for $5. They were "washed once but never used". This seems to be the common description on Craigslist. Other than looking for stains/wear and tear are there other things I should be looking for/taking into consideration when buying CDs that have been opened.

The only things I can think of: how long ago did they buy it and what detergent did they use?

People honestly do it. They buy, they wash, they freak out, they sell. I bought my pockets all washed and not worn. It's nuts.

Just take a look - make sure they're not stained and seem new-ish, then give her the cash and take your bargains.

I always ask about detergent, fabric softener, and bleach. A lot of people use the wrong stuff and I like to know what I'm dealing with. If they have been used I ask about diaper cream and how they have been dried.

As long as the elastic is in good shape, I'd snap those up.  Great price!  As far as things like detergents and creams and stuff, I strip everything I get used so don't care as much.  If they had been used longer I might worry but I don't ever ask that on used cd boards.  Good luck!
