Sorry if you find this post stupid or no point for it. But I'm VERY freakin pissed right now! I wish I can just choke that stupid rep and his supervisor through the phone.
Thanks for letting me get that out!

Grrrrrr! I hate them too! I can't wait until my contract is up in October so that I can switch to another provider. Verizon has the worst customer service ever! When you go into a store, the people in there claim they can't help you and that you have to call the service line....but when you call the service line they claim they don't see what you are looking at online! It is so frustrating!
Sorry you are having troubles with them, I hoped I was the only one.

MH paid $300 for the razr (piece of garbage) on 12/6 and hasn't been working since day 1! MULTIPLE complaints have been made in person an via phone with no resolution what-so-EVER! Spoke to many representatives and supervisors, all claiming they will get back to us with a better decision to solve the problem.. HA! Yeh right!! No one calls back.. it's pretty much take your money and run with those jerks! They have the worst customer service ever, and they just don't give a sh*t.

MH has had the same customer svc issues with them, but most
recently over a phone that kept breaking (Droid). Well, eventually one
of the reps pissed him off so bad that he immediately canceled both our
lines, (costing $400) & switched to T-Mobile that day.
I've worked in customer svc most my life, so I'm an extremely
patient person in situations like this, but I don't blame MH for his
rash decision. He was being treated horribly.
I've heard nothing good about Verizon. I've had Sprint for years and I'll risk sounding like a Sprint employee by saying... I love them! I've had good luck with their customer service, and they've even removed charges for me when my husband "accidentally" used a bunch of data thinking it was included in our plan. They've replaced my phone without issue when it's broken, and they'll help you choose a plan that's good for YOU, not just the most expensive one. Plus, you can change your plan without having to sign a new contract. You only sign a new contract when you switch phones. Oh, and the unlimited data package is truly unlimited, unlike some other companies - this is a big deal, because we use it A LOT.
The only downside to Sprint is the coverage area isn't quite as good as Verizon if you're out in the boonies. When I visit my parents in the country, I don't get service everywhere. Sometimes I'll have to stand by a window or go outside. A minor price to pay for all the good things I love about them.
I've had Verizon for over 10 years and most everyone I know has them because their customer service is good. I've never had an issue. MH works for them now and if you have a problem with your phone you have a 2 week return period, and if he bought it in Dec he had a month to take it back. Verizon doesn't make the phones and can't guarantee the quality of someone else's product. Aside from letting you exchange the phone there isn't much they can do. And it's not just a Verizon issue, it's a phone manufacturer issue that affects all carriers. A few of my coworkers have AT&T and Sprint and are having the same issues with their phones.
