Trying to Get Pregnant

Yet another CM question...sorry

I don't chart my CM because it doesnt really change much. It is usually just wet. (just the the other 'CM' post)

So what I am asking is will just charting my temp be sufficiant enough to detect O??

Re: Yet another CM question...sorry

  • Temps are the most accurate way to detect O, from everything that I have read.

  • Loading the player...
  • Your CM *should* reflect how fertile you are, but it's nowhere near as dependable for pinpointing your O as temping.  I've had less fertile CM throughout a whole cycle.  If I wasn't temping, I'd be unsure that I was ovulating.

It does help with interpreting a wonky temp pattern though.

    HTH!

  • I've been charting just my temp and I've gotten great results detecting O. I just recently started trying to chart CM as well and its been hit or miss for me.

    * don't look at my chart, its a disaster. I've been so lazy with it.

  • I us CM as a secondary fertility sign, but don't always remember to enter it in my FF chart. You should still be able to determine when you've ovulated without that info, though.

I will say, however, I find that checking my CM really helps me narrow down my fertile window since I usually notice EWCM a few days before I ovulate.
