Currently Very Newly PG...

And introducing myself over here. Hi, my name is Katie. I hung out mostly on TTGP and just found out that I am PG on Tuesday. I had an emergency c/s with my DS after 41 hours of non-progressing labor. I will need a lot of support if I am going to even go the VBAC route. Currently, I go back and forth on a daily basis. I look forward from learning from you ladies and hearing your stories!

    Welcome to the group Nemo!  This board is a fantastic support place and full of resources, birth stories, and helpful info about all things VBAC.  The mod of this board is iris, and she's getting together a few sticky threads for the main board page.  The posts are lower on the page and have some great info in them.

    FWIW, I think it's normal to go back and forth on wanting/not wanting a VBAC.  Making the decision is in itself a process, just like anything else.  For me it helped to go to local ICAN meetings and listen/talk to others.  GL to you!  And congrats again on your BFP!

    Hey stranger, Congrats on the pregnancy!! You know I had a vbac with W and am hoping/planning on another one this time. If you have any questions or anything let me know.

    That's awesome on the BFP!! My DS is only 5 months but already I'm thinking about the next one (won't be for another couple years, probably) but I had the same issues! 30 hours labor though and 3 1/2 hours pushing and he wouldn't go lower than a +2 station. I kept saying that I didn't want to do a VBAC mostly cause I'm scared of it happening again but I didn't have any medication until I was 23 hours in and had only dialated to a 6 and I said screw it I'm done! So anyway not to hijack your post just wondering the same things!! If we are still in the same town I won't have a choice unless I drive 1 hr away but we just don't know where we'll be so maybe it'll be an option! GL with your decision! I'll probably be stalking your posts now Smile
