I am 10 weeks PP. I had pp bleeding for 5 weeks. 2 weeks later had my first period. I am still having bleeding...3 weeks later! Has this happened to anyone else? Talked to doctors office today and asked if it was normal and their response was that it was not abnormal. They said if I am still bleeding by the end of the month, then I need to come in for a visit. I know that they know best, but it just don't seem normal to bleed this much!

Are you sure you had AF?  I am pretty sure I bled off and on for about 8 or 9 weeks. I didn't get AF until DS was 14 weeks old.

I wouldn't worry about it, though.

I had to go to the dr due to an infection that I had from the c-section on week 7. I asked them if it were AF of just more bleeding and they said that it was AF. I have thought that since it was going on for so long that it could possibly be more bleeding. But I did stop bleeding for 2 weeks, then started back. It just worries me. I had a huge bacterial infection that was caused during the c-section and after I have gone through what I have with that, I don't want something else to happen.
