Ambsies HELP!!! Can't update my sig/avatar!

Paging Ambsies!  Paging Ambsies!

I cannot fix this &8&^%^ing signature!  I've searched every board and FAQ, done everything I'm supposed to do.  But it's just NOT UPDATING!  After two hours, I'm ready to throw my computer across the room and just forget about coming back to these boards.

Seriously.  Help a girl out.  I was a regular poster during my first pregnancy, and now that we're TTC, I thought I'd come back.  But I can't update my profile!

When I click on "my bump" on the left, it always makes me login (even when it says I'm already logged in before).  I've uploaded a new avatar and signature, but only the old one shows up when I post.  Then, when you click on my name in a post, which should take you to my profile, I get an error page.  I think the problem is that I had an old profile/signature from 2 years ago on this account, from before they updated the whole profile system.  Somehow my old signature is still stuck in the source code. 

HELP!  I feel so stupid posting with this old signature! ARRRRGH.  Can anyone help?

PS...Old siggy has a turquoise background and a baby in black/white photos.  New siggy should have a red background and a toddler with color photos.

It could be that your SN has a number in it, which has worked itself into a Nest/Bump glitch. E-mail community at thebump dot com and see if they can help you out.

And it may take some time to update things. It took several minutes for mine to update last time.

That's EXACTLY it!  I have a number in my SN.  I'm just glad to know that it's not just my mind playing tricks on me.  Thanks so much--I emailed them earlier this afternoon!

And I didn't mean to get all antsy.  I was just frustrated (especially because I'm now posting on the TTC boards, and I feel rude using a signature with a newborn on it, as if I'm not being sensitive to how much everyone over there is hoping for a baby).  Thanks so much for your help!

   Looks like Dr L came to the rescue   I would have suggested the same exact thing!

You're not the only person with a child who's TTCing. I highly doubt people are that sensitive. Get it changed when it works and go from there. Hope you get it all sorted out soon
