After you have a baby (no matter how far along you were or if the baby was born sleeping) it is longer than a regular period. Mine took 5 weeks but that is actually pretty fast, for many people it's more like 6-8 and some even longer than that. Your body has been through a lot and it may take some time for you to be back to normal cycles.
Married the love of my life 7/11/09 - Our first baby, Peyton Mark, was born sleeping 10/25/11 at 33 weeks - Our second baby, BFP 2/4/12, welcome to the world Raylan! Holy Moly, BPF 2/4/14, please be safe and sound little one!
I had a two day mini period 5 weeks after I delivered. That was Jan. 2nd. I am expecting my second cycle to come any day.... I've been cramping, but still nothing. I am looking forward to my body getting back to normal so I can move forwards.
