Sharp Pain

I just blew my nose (not very hard either), and I now have a sharp pain at my incision.  It feels like a needle at a certain spot.  Anyone else have this happen?  I'm also having some odd pregancy like pains in my breast, so wondering if it's just hormones causing pain for both.  Debating if I should call my doctor or not.

It's always worth calling your doctor if you're not sure!!  1 week pp I ended up in the ER and then admitted for 5 days on IV antibiotics because I got an abcsess and massive infection from my c/s.  I was in severe pain, which is why I went to the ER, but it could ahve been bad if I had waited.  After that I will never again be shy about calling the doctor!!  So call your doc if you think something is wrong!

When in doubt call your doctor.  That's why they're there.  My OB said he'd rather answer a lot of questions telling his patients "don't worry, it's normal", than to have one patient end up with a severe complication because she didn't call to ask.

Having said that, I had pain very similar to what you're describing for about 3 weeks.  It was a sharp, burning, stabbing pain at the end of my incision.  I really only felt it in the middle of the night when I'd sit up in bed.  My dr told me it wasn't anything to worry about, and he advised me to take an ibuprofen before bed (I had stopped taking pain meds after a week, I was feeling great in general).
