Repeat C-Section ?

Im newly preggo but had an emergency C with my son and have been advised by my OB and Peri that I will have another C for my 2nd (yay, I really enjoyed mine, I know some done). If you had a second C section how many weeks prior to your due date did your doctor schedule yours?

Hmm....I don't even remember scheduling my rcs with Erin....but I've never made it anywhere near my edd's so....I don't imagine we'll be scheduling this one either.  But I think I've heard most rsc's get scheduled about 27-30ish weeks.

My OB schedules it around 36w. Mine was scheduled at 19w because it had an important meaning behind it involving my first born.

I want to say mine was scheduled around 34/35 weeks. 

 

I am a week out now and feeling pretty good. I was nervous about it, but the healing has been coming along nicely.

I haven't had my repeat c/s yet, but I asked my OB today when we will schedule it.  It sounds like we won't schedule for quite a while because he has to wait and see what is going on with his schedule and, of course, coordinate with the hospital's schedule since they have limited OR space for c-sections.

My RCS was scheduled at my 16 week appointment.

It will be done at approximately 39 weeks.

I believe it depends on the doctor and/or hospital policy. 

My doctor wouldn't schedule mine until 36 weeks (one month before due date) due to hospital policy.

Mine was scheduled at my 15 week appointment to be done at 39 weeks.
