Silly question on MS/nausea

So this is probably a silly question, but I am a paranoid FTM, so please indulge me :)

I have felt nauseous pretty much every day for the past 2-3 weeks, and I have been tired in the evenings.  However this morning, I felt totally fine, and I have not had more than a few flutters of nausea today.  Do you think the fact that my nausea has gone away for today (seemingly) is a bad sign?

I also had a very sharp pain on the left side of my abdomen about a week ago, and I passed some tissue when I went to the bathroom a few days ago (no blood).  I think I am a little more "freaked out" that I am miscarrying than usual because I went for my first u/s, which they thought would be 6 weeks, but I was only measuring 4w6d, with not much to see outside of the gestational sac.  I was not too surprised by the dating, since I knew I ovulated late, but now I am quite anxious about my u/s next week.  Am I crazy?

Thanks for any reassurance or tips you can provide.  Trying to keep myself from calling the doctor to see if we can scoot the u/s up a little bit to help ease my nerves.

Re: Silly question on MS/nausea

  • Not a silly question.  Symptoms can vary from one day to the next.

I'd leave your appointment for next week.  You'll be further along by then and should be able to see more development than this week.  If you went this week, you may not see as much as you would next week and you could leave there feeling more stressed than you went in.

Enjoy feeling psysically good today :)  I know it's not easy.  .
