Was browsing the Destination Maternity sale and there's not one thing I liked. Booo!

I'm waiting for DH to come home so we can go grocery shopping. We decided to have friends over for the Super Bowl and I'm already regretting it because I realized it means that we have to clean.

Joaquin started getting back on track with sleep so of course now she has a fever and doesn't want to eat anything but crackers. Siiiiigh. Snuggles and stories all day long isn't too shabby but future broc is totally going to pay the price. Mr. Broc is taking a nap during lunch so he's feeling crappy too. Double siiiigh.

I'm keeping my days free, hoping for the baby. Supposed to take W with the neighbor boy to one of those indoor play things that is opening this weekend. Should be interesting!

We went shopping this morning just to get out of the house and I got a bunch of winter gloves, hats, scarves on sale for the kids for next year.

Once again I will spend this weekend working.

DH just called to say he'll be staying in Nebraska tonight for work so I'm a single parent, thank goodness the kids are being good today

I'm making buffalo chicken dip in a bread bowl, chicken wings, meatballs, chips and salsa, and brownies. Our friend is bringing pigs in a blanket and a veggie platter.

I'm not kidding. I don't follow sports at all. I will root for my home teams, and I like to go to games, but other than that...thats it.  H is an outdoorsy person. Four wheeling, camping, snow mobiles...he doesn't watch sports either. I'm pretty happy about that ;-)

I might have to get into it for the food though!! lol

Yes, the food is awesome. We hardly got to watch last year since DD was so little. I'm excited to see my team in it and be able to celebrate a little. Now if only I could drink.

If I buy the bread today for the bread bowl, do you think it'll be too hard by Sunday? Stale bread for the purpose of dipping is ok, right?

I'm here.  I unpacked one of the 2 boxes left and it was huge so I'm giving myself off for the day.  Dinner is in the crockpot too, so no cooking but I'm thinking of calling DH to see if he'll bring me home Burger King or Wendy's because both of those sound way better right now.  Sorry, we're boring over here.

SweetH, you could buy it today, wrap it tight in saran wrap and put it in the fridge. Just take it out Sunday morning so it can get to room temperature.

Marsam jinxed me, waaaah.

Don't chill the bread. That makes it go stale faster because it makes the sugars in the starch form a crystallinematrix faster. I'd put it whole in a plastic bag and then put it in a low oven for a few minutes so the outside crisps up again when you need to use it.

Hey Missy, nothing new here just made German Chocolate Cupcakes, just what I need, soooo yummy smelling. Otherwise waiting on James to wake up from his nap and then we are going to wait and see about this crazy storm. Suppose to get between 10-24 inches in Colorado tonight and tomorrow, BLUCK!

I don't know what today's date is so I'm not sure if this is from today...

WE ARE ALL SICK. And JT's like really sick - fever for 5 days now! Ffejsgirl was on to something - we just switched antibiotics. His ear infection got worse since we started antibiotic on Monday. Poor little guy. Plus he has a cold on top of it all....

......and gave it to me! How generous! Except now that I have a bun in the oven my choices are to:

A. Just deal with it

2. Get over it

or

C. Suck it up.

Blah.

My poor Elfster Valentine ---- I have no idea how I'm going to shop and get my gift out in time!
