At this stage I'll be voting just to vote against who I think is the worst canidate. There isn't a single one I want right now but my vote will at least be one not for who I really don't want.

But then again, I never translate it to "baby dance" in my head.  My brain just auto-decodes BD=sex. ::shrug::

Thats kind of funny. I can't do that though. Even though (at this stage i think) I won't be happy with whoever wins, I cannot waste my vote in keeping someone I really don't like out.

My UO is that I don't like getting invited to Bridal Showers and having to buy someone 2 gifts, technically for the same occasion.  I know there's the whole "gifts aren't expected" disclosure but at a shower, they obviously are expected and at a wedding, personally, I still feel obligated to bring a gift even if I already gave a gift for the shower.

It's not that I'm cheap, really I'm not and I do enjoy giving gifts but I don't understand the need to "shower the bride" with gifts before her wedding and then get them another gift at or after the wedding.  I did not want a Bridal Shower for this very reason and people were offended by me not wanting a Shower.

I agree. I have never read it as baby dance.

My UO is that if you drive a nice sports car with a small backseat, you should not be the one to offer to drive everyone to lunch. Yes, you have a nice car but trying to squeeze people in the backseat is just rude.

I thought it meant 'bed down' which is still kind of what I go with when I say it... BD doesn't bother me in the least though either.

Edited because the 2nd part of that sentence was just horribly written!

I don't know if this is really that unpopular but it has been on my mind a lot lately - I absolutely hate feet!  I think they're gross so of course lately DH has been resting his feet on me and driving me crazy with his feet.  I can't even explain how much they disgust me or why... they just do.  Ick.

The only good thing about feet is that they get to wear nice shoes and boots

I didn't want a bridal shower, either.  I hate showers.  I made a deal - if they throw me a bridal shower, then they CAN NOT throw me a baby shower when the time comes.    Very happy about that deal.

"Wow, DH and I had sex and were able to conceive, now give us gifts!"  I don't think so.  SMH

I do actually like giving gifts and have no problem whatsoever with baby showers (because I want to help out the mom-to-be with stuff needed and who doesn't love to buy baby stuff?)   but I guess I just feel differently about bridal showers since proper etiquette warrants gifts twice for the same thing.

I am soooo happy one of my really good friends didn't choose me to be a bridesmaid. She's doing the whole shebang for her wedding. Every tradition and event involving a wedding. For a girl who had a backyard bbq and whose bachlorette party was a dinner out w friends it would be complete anxiety inducing to participate and plan for her big day.

Snark is funny, that's why I like it. Too many people don't have a good delivery then it sucks. My opinion is there is very little snark on the board these days. Even less good snark.

This I totally agree with I didn't mind having a shower but I hated the fact that 20 some people were watching me open "wedding goodies" and lick-able glitter dust and blindfolds and lingerie that was sooo awkward. I literally was shaking and beet red and sweating because I hated it!!!

I couldn't give two figs who Trump endorses for the Republicans today. He is a massive AW and I judge people that think he has good ideas. Considering the options being tossed out, the election may as well be given to Obama right now.

I'm pretty sure she's saying that it may as well be given to Obama due to the quality of our possible nominees and not, necessarily, because she thinks Obama has done a fabulous job.

As a registered Republican, I'm annoyed at my fellow Republicans for who has come out as the front runners and I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there like me (fiscally conservative, socially moderate).

I haven't read through all the replies, but this probably isn't that unpopular.

I think bringing up the same UO week after week is annoying. Like the Holy Batman UO's. I'm pretty sure I saw those last week and the week before.

And maybe this is being hypocritical, but I don't think I've seen this mentioned before. I cannot stand when grown woman refer to their boobs as "bb's". I'm fine with the term boobs, breasts, hell, even tits for that matter. Unless I'm missing the meaning behind "bb's" it just irritates me.

I'll contribute an UO today. Not every hurdle you encounter while TTC should be attributed to past use of hormonal BC. I get so sick of the way it's vilified around here. Millions of women happily use hormonal bc, then come off it and go on to get pregnant. Most even go back on it after baby ::gasp:: Hormonal bc is not the devil. Also, not charting does not make you and uneducated hillbilly.

Maybe it's just the frustration talking but I told H I'm never going back on any form of birth control.  Mama Duggar to be?  Who knows but by the time any phantom baby comes I will be at least 33 and let's say a pregnancy and a PP period take a year the most amount of kids I could have before 40 would be 6, right? I think I can handle six.  Then I'd get my tubes tied. This may just be the crazy talking.

Agreed.  Especially for those who are just starting TTC.  It's okay to be here and be "casually" trying to get pregnant.  I know I want to get pregnant right away and am taking all of the steps I can to improve my odds, but I respect those who want to take a more relaxed approach.  This is the TTGP board, not the TTTC board, after all! 

Disclaimer:  Even those who are casually TTC should know that they aren't pregnant if they got their period, and should not ask a mass of women they've never met if they "might be" pregnant 3 days after they had sex.

I am soo with you. I've informed my DH that the only time I'll ever go back on it is when we are positive that we're not interested in having any more babies. And I don't see that happening anytime soon!
