I do like Eve, but not with Catherine. I just think it sounds a little forced and doesn't flow well. If you're dead-set on Catherine, would you consider Eva?

I think Eve Katherine is pretty. One syllable first names always have an off flow, and seem a little forced, in combination with the middle. I wouldn't worry about it.
It seems to served my mom well her whole life! It's the name she has gone by for most of it anyhow. Her real name is Eva Elizabeth Katherine but she has gone by Eve Katherine for at least her entire adult life. So I will say its a great name, I very much wanted to name my DD after her but DH wasn't going for it.
I like Eve a lot, much better than Eva, and I think it sounds fine with Katherine. It was actually on our short list, but it's one of those deceptively popular names. There aren't very many Eves, but combine it with all the Evas, Evelyns, Evangelines, Evies, and Avas and suddenly there's a lot of girls with names very similar to your daughter. I don't know if popularity is something that concerns you though and it really is a lovely name.
Love love LOVE Eve. That is what we had always planned on using as a NN for DD, but for some reason it just didn't fit her personality once she was here so she goes by her full name.

I agree. Eve Katherine doesn't flow well together.

Re: WDYT of Eve?
At the risk of sounding like a 12 year old, the name Eve always makes me think of douche. Sorry.
I do like Eva though.

All of this. Eve is pretty on its own, but Eva Katherine sounds better.
