Anybody take the 1st tri glucose tolerance test?

Hi ladies. I had gestational diabetes my last pregnancy and had to take an early 1hr glucose tolerance. I passed Anybody else done this with a previous pregnancy and did you develop gest diabetes later or not? I want to avoid it so badly! Thanks.

I didn't even know there was a first tri one. But congrats on passing!

Yes, I had to take it with my second pregnancy b/c my DS was 9.5lbs born 2 weeks early.  I did not have GD with him, but apparently you must take the 1st tri glucose test if you have a baby over 9 pounds.

So, I'll have to take it with this baby as well since DD was 9.3lbs born 1 week early.  Again, no GD with her, but still have to do it.

And there's nothing more fun then drinking that awful drink when you already feel sick.  UGH.

I had to with my last pregnancy because my mom has diabetes.  I passed.  I haven't had my first appointment yet, and this time I have a new doctor, so I don't know if I will have to this time as well.
