Hello MoM's!! It's been awhile since I've posted on here thanks to working FT & trying to spend as much time as I can with my babies. I miss reading about everyone's appointments and how things are going. I'm sure I've also missed many births, but Congrats to all the new MoM's out there and I can't wait to catch up!!
Anyways, we are taking Gavin & Gage to Disney for their 1st time (DH & I have been a couple times.) I've been reading up on the disboards, but find a lot of that overwhelming at times. I know before I went missing a few months back one of you had just gone. We will be staying on Disney property, taking advantage of their transportation, & I've read about skipping the line if you have kids. The boys will be turning 10 months old while we are there & I can't wait to see their expressions!!
Any tips & advice would be very appreciated!!

That's right!! I remember orangesmoke had planned her trip, but there was someone else who had went and I believe she had twins girls and a singleton... Just can't remember who.
It's called Rider Swap or Child Swap. You get a fast pass, then when it's your turn to ride the ride, you enter the fast pass line with your child(ren), you ask the cast member for the rider swap pass. They then give you a pass that allows up to 3-4 people to ride the ride, while someone waits with the kids. When they are done, the person who had to wait gets to swap and ride it!!

We have a mom's disney planning group of facebook that many of us are on. If you'd like to join it PM me your email and I'll add you. There are several of us from this board in the group.
We just got back in December and only took my singleton but:
1. Stay as close to MK as you can. We stayed at Contemporary.
2. Use GardenGrocer.com to order essentials so you don't have to travel with them.
3. I used Orlando stroller rental. The stroller was at bell services when we arrived and we dropped it back at bell services when we left.
4. Go EARLY-like at rope drop and come back to nap after lunch.
Let me know if you want to join the FB group...it really is great for information/planning.
We went with the boys for their first birthday in November, and honestly, Dh and I are still traumatized... however, I will say, we didn't plan the trip. We tagged along for niece/nephew's bdays so SIL planned the trip, and we didn't do things how I would have done them to accommodate the boys.
I was scared about taking the shuttles bc of logistics of double stroller (bumbleride), potentially 2 sleeping babies, and all the baby gear from the park. However, I was pleasently surprised! The drives would help us get on... wouldn't let anyone one until we were settled, so gave DH time to help me carry both boys while he folded stroller, etc.
Tips - We did MK night event, and got there too late, so boys didn't get to see much past 8:30pm bedtime. Not much to do at Epcot (our second day)... except a character breakfast at Vine & Dine and character photo spot. Hollywood Studios has the Playhouse Disney section which is nice, but not very large.
We bought a 3 day pass, but only used 2 days. I really want to go back next month to visit MK early and spend the day there. Let's see.
