Target Up & Up Basal Thermometer

Avoid it. It's been giving me favorite temps out the wazoo. It may still provide an idea of what my temps are like, but I'm pretty uncomfortable using it at this point. Just an FYI. :) 
It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    Have you tested your husband just to be sure?  I thought I was having trouble too and then I tested DH and it didn't give me the preset temp..  I've had mine for almost a year now and it hasn't given me any problems.

    I didn't have a problem with the favorite temps thing (although I've heard people complain about it before.)  I did have a problem where it wouldn't display the previous temperature when you turned it on.  Sometimes I couldn't see very well when I actually took my temperature and I'd like to refer back to the reading to verify - but one day it just quit doing it.  I'm taking this month off as far as TTC goes but I'll probably get a new one soon.

    Oh yikes. I just bought one too Sad  . AF should be here by Friday, and I am going to start temping tomorrow. If I start getting favorite temps I will probably just go get the Walmart one.

    The PP's don't have a problem with favorite temps, so maybe you'll luck out! :)

    I hated my Target BBT!  Lots of favorite temps for me.  Bought a Walmart Mabis one which is working much better.

    I just got this one in the mail! Sad I was going to start temping next cycle. Thanks for posting this, at least I know to keep an extra eye on the temps with this one!

    Mine kind of has favorite temps (like it's always 97.2, never 97.24 or 97.27), but I've used mine for 1.5 years and never had any issues knowing if I O'd or not. I've tried a few other thermometers like Wamart's, CVS's, and even the BD one and the target one is still my favorite. It's fast, it works, it saves my temp, it doesn't make lots of obnoxious beeping noises. Keep in mind that what matters in charting is the overall pattern, not the specific temperature. As long as you have low temps and then high temps that show you're ovulating, the thermometer is doing its job.

    I just ordered the BD BBT from Amazon because my Walgreens one was giving my flat temps a few days in a row. My old one never did that, but it took a crap. I have my FX that this one will be good. I'll let you know when I get it and report back in case you are still in the market.

    I have been wondering if mine is crapping out. I'm getting temps all over the place but I guess the first month after a m/c, I have no idea what to expect.

    A few months ago, I had DH take his temp for a few days and he got temps all over the place. So I assumed it was working.
