Graco Monitor Makes Clicking Sound?

Tonight was the first night I used our Graco baby monitor and when I turned it on it makes a clicking sound that I can't get to stop. I have tried changing the channel on the monitor, moving the base to another location, everything, and it still clicks. It is a very rhythmic and constant click. This isn't our main monitor but I would like to have it work right. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it?
