Sorry, probably a newb question, but I've never had to deal with this before. I am going in tomorrow to have my sonohysterogram re-done. Just had it last May, but the new RE feels he has better equipment and is requiring me to have it re-done.
The nurse left a message and said to come in with a full bladder. Never had this for my previous tests. How do I make sure it's full. I normally can't hold it for that long, and have to use the restroom frequently in the morning thanks to all of the water with my vitamins and supplements. Any suggestions on how much to drink, how far in advance? Thanks!
On a side note, I'm hoping this may make for a much more pleasant experience (is that possible)? My first SIS the dr at imaging center wasn't the regular dr; he filled in at the last minutes and assured me he had done this numerous times. Took him 45 minutes to get the catheter into my cervix. Crossing my fingers that tomorrow is much better!
Re: Full Bladder ?
i hope it goes smoothly cutie.
my bladder gets full very quickly. i usually pee when i leave the house and drink about 24 ounces on the way and i've always been full (ride to RE is about 30 - 60 min depending on traffic)

Thanks. I was thinking I would just take a large bottle of water with me and drink it on the way.
