Sex after HSG?

The information I got today says wait a few days to have sex after having the HSG test...

What's your opinion/experience with this?

TTC since 10.07~Diagnosed with PCOS 08.08~4 rounds of clomid=BFN~Took a break from meds... Surprise BFP 03.29.09~ Natural m/c 04.06.09~50mg clomid & progesterone 06.09=BFN


Adoption made our wish come true 12.21.11~JEC 11.10.10

Surprise BFP on 03.26.16! EDD 11.28.16

    I wasn't given any restrictions after, but I know I was in no mood for it the night of!
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I was told I could resume sexual activity the next day.... the radiologist who performed my test was a strong believer in success immediately following HSG, so she actually told me to make sure we did it ASAP!

    I think we waited 2 days.  I'm not sure how ready I was that soon after but at the time we were unaware of any other IF issues, I was ovulating, and we didn't want to miss a cycle!

    I was told no sex for 24 hours. ?Personally, with all the dye goo up in there, I wasn't interested! ?:)

    When I had mine they told me if I felt like it, no problem.

    I just had an HSG a few weeks ago and they told me that NOTHING was "to be inserted" for 48 hours.
