Yesterday, DH offered up Elsie. That's a big deal since he has only offered up two other names (Lorelei and Caroline). I like Elsie, but I think I would prefer it as a nick name. The only "full" name I can think of is Elsa. Any other ideas? General impressions of Elsie?

Re: Elsie
I love Elsie as a nickname for Elsa. You could also use Eloise, Elspeth, or Elisabeth.
I think Elsa Caroline would be a lovely combination.
I suppose Elsie could be a nn for Eloise? I much prefer Eloise. Elsie makes me think of a farm.
Ohh! I like that combo!

Me too. Specifically cows.
I adore Eloise though and Elsa (while NMS) is also a nice name.

I really like Elsie by itself. I have a friend whose daughter's name is Elsie. I guess I could see Elsie as a nickname for Eloise (another name I really like). But I don't see the point of naming her Elsa and calling her Elsie. They're almost identical. Unless you just feel that the "-ie" at the end makes the name seem too youthful for a grown woman. But there are plenty of names that end in an ie/y sound that work well for an adult (Ruby and Lucy are two of my favs), so I don't know if that should be an issue.
Edit: I also really like your H's other two suggestions.
Ha! This is hilarious to me. Partly because I also thought cow but couldn't figure out why, and partly because we have "Orson" on our boys' short list. Apparently Oraon is a pig from Garfield and Friends.

This is biased because my name is Elisa, but I don't like Elsie because it is one of the many many ways people have always mispronounce my name. Here are all the versions that I've heard, maybe you'll like some of them!
Elsie, Elise, Eliza, Alyssa, Alicia, Eloise, Elina
I would like it better if it was "LC" as a nickname for an L firstname and a C middle name. Just an opinion, good luck on your big decision!
I used to love Elsa, but the lady on Real Housewives and people telling me that the name reminds them of an overweight swedish lady or a cow has turned me off.
Caroline and Lorelei are both lovely names. In fact, Caroline Lorelei sounds good together.

I'd say Elsa or Eloise - I prefer Eloise.
Elsie is a cute NN.
