Trying to Get Pregnant

Do you normally O on the same day or close?

I only have one full chart to go off of. Last month I o'd early on CD9. So far dont think i did (dont use OPK but I am temping and checking CM) and on CD10.

I realize you may not O on the same CD every month, but how often do you hit the same day or how off is it usually, one or two days? more?

Just stopped bc a few months ago so realize it could be anywhere from the same day to many days later. Just wondering what has been typical for you ladies.

 Thanks

Re: Do you normally O on the same day or close?

  • Mine is always within the same 4 day time frame each month.

  • I had four months in a row of the same o-day.  So, I thought I'd gotten into a "normal" pattern and that would be my standard day.
Then last month it was four days earlier than that.
My average, according to FF is now 18.  But it's ranged 14-24 in the last 9 cycles.

  • So far, I have charted for 3 cycles and O'ed on days 18-21 (1x on 18 and 2x on day 21).

The consistent pattern that I've seen so far for me is that I O the day after 2 days of +OPKs.  But I think you'll learn that nothing is usually "consistent" with TTC. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, your body goes and messes with ya :)

    Good Luck!

  • My typical O day falls between CD13 and CD16. That said, I've had O confirmed at CDs 11, 12, 17 and 20. If we were TTC, I'd start purposeful BDing on CD9 or 10 until O is confirmed.

  • I've O'd as early as early as CD 15 and as late as CD 21 and anywhere in between

  • I have ovulated as early as CD 10 and as late as CD 27 in the past 14 cycles although I think the CD 10 was because I didn't ovulate the previous cycle. I usually O sometime after CD 15.

  • Well I am glad that so many women are so regular.  My O date is all over...
  • My first few cycles off of BC, I ovulated around CD17 or 18.  The last 4 cycles I have consistently ovulated on CD 14 or 15.

  • Oh how I wish I had some O consistency! In 10 cycles I've O'd everywhere from CD 13-CD30, but my average is btw CD 17-21.
  • No, but I also have PCOS. The earliest I typically ovulate is around day 55, but I have gone past 70 days and ended cycles with provera.

  • I usually O on our around CD 19
