How much bedrest?

Friday is my sister's transfer and I'm trying to figure out how long she should be on bedrest. I know it probably doesnt make a difference but I'm trying everything. 
My Wonderful Sister is my GC!!!! 3 IUIs, 2 unmedicated, 1 50mg of Clomid = All BFNs Next step IVF!!!! Melinda & Michael 5*6*06 God Bless The Broken Road

    My 2nd RE was actually anti- bedrest. He believes living your life as usual (with the exception of running marathons) is beneficial to keep blood flowing and conditions in the ute nice to promote pregnancy. I got pregnant w/ that philosophy so I believe in it. However, I know many pregnancies occur w/ bedrest too - so I say, go with which ever method you feel most comfortable with.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    My RE says 24 hours.  But, it isn't "strict."  The day of transfer, I would usually make it pretty strict (I would get up for bathroom breaks but DH brought me food/drinks).  The next day, I laid around but I had to get my own food/drinks. 

    There are ladies that do bedrest for a longer period of time and some that don't do any.  So, in the end, it is really what you and your sister feel most comfortable with that matters.  Good luck!!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    is she tranferring 3d or 5d embies?

    3 day embies = 3 days of take it easy

    5 day blasts = 1 day of take it easy

    this is based on MrsAMR's acu recs and what I do.  

    my RE says to just take it easy day of transfer

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    My RE says 5 days of "light activity", but no bed rest.  I'm planning on 2-4 days of bed/couch rest this time, just for my peace of mind.
    IVF #3 = Feb 2012
    beta#1 3/21 (14dp3dt)=413, beta#2 3/23 (16dp3dt)=785, u/s 4/11

    My RE doesn't do bedrest but I've always done bedrest the day of and take it very easy the day after.
    After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.

    My RE requires strict 24 hours (only up to the bathroom) and then another 48 hours "take it easy."  Who knows it if it helps though...

    Our little miracle baby is a boy. :)

    Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.

    Thanks ladies... I'm gonna try on day of bedrest and Saturday acu and taking it easy...hopefully my sister will go for it. It's all up to her! LOL
