First Response expierence

Tomorrow I will be 4 days away from my expected period.  I was thinking of taking a first response test tomorrow morning.  I know that results are far more accurate if I wait until I miss my period, but thought why not go ahead and try early.  Has anyone had any expierence with first reponse test and using it this early?  Thanks

I took a first response at 7dpo (so about 3 days before my missed period) with my first BFP.

Is the date of your expected period based on counting days between periods and what that usually is? Or is it because you charted your BBT? It makes a difference in what a good answer will be.

I have gotten +'s twice, both a few days before my expected period. I only tested that early because they were the only cycles I didn't start spotting a week + before my period.

I have counted the days and I am always regular with my cycles.  I also got a  positive on my opk test Jan. 21, so I know about the time I ovulated.  With my first pregnancy I just tested on the day I was suppose to get my period and got a very strong positive, but I hate waiting:)  Might just test tomorrow for kicks.

I like em, but use caution with that whole "5 days before missed period" thing.

I've never had a positive with a FRER, but have had positives at 9 and 10dpo with Answer brand tests.

If you don't mind seeing the negatives & can keep in mind that it can be too early, have at it.

Well, I went a bought the equate brand prenancy test and took it this morning.  I got a positive!!!  See you guys on first tri:)
