imposing a quote over a picture?

Hey everyone...I know this has been explained before, but can someone tell me how to take a picture and have my favorite love quote written over it like many of you have? TIA!!!

    Go to picnik.com, upload your picture and then use their tools to add text to the picture.

    I always dump my pics into a word doc then paste a text box over it that doesn't have a background color so it's see thru. Then I save the pic as a jpeg. That website may be a lot easier though.
