So, MH and I had a talk tonight about our TTC plans and decided it
would be best to take a few months off. He's graduating from grad
school this May and we'll likely be moving out of state. I'm really
sad that we have to take a break after 9 months of TTC (we already had
to take 2 months off for scheduling reasons), especially since it's
something we've really been looking forward to. But, I think it's the
responsible thing to do for a few reasons.
1) I'm a new RN and would be about 6 months pregnant (if I would have my BFP this month), which would make it very difficult to hide that and find a new job.
2) Our health benefits are kinda cruddy right now and we'll have great benefits staring in July.
3) If I wait and am able to work for a year, I'll be able to qualify for FMLA.
So, vent over. Has anyone else gone through something like this?

BFP 7/16/2012 (8th cycle), EDD 3/27/2012, Delivered 3/24/2013 - IT'S A BOY!
I am right now and it sucks! I just got a new job and I'm a CPA with my busy season from Jan-April. We plan to start trying again in July/Aug. Sorry you have to wait, but you are being smart and responsible!!
Im still charting so by the time we do TTC again, I'll know my body pretty well.
BFP #2: EDD 9/3/13~~Slow HB at 1st U/S~~MMC -Loss on 2/13/13
Eek. Gee, no pressure or anything....
I hope it works out for you this month.

It stinks, but at the same time if we wait a year from now after not getting pregnant this month, I know in my heart that I will have more time for my baby/with my baby.
Good luck with whatever happens. Health benefits and FMLA (if you know you'll need to return to work) are good reasons to wait, imo.
