Bleeding after C- Section question

So i'm almost 6 weeks Post Operation and for about the last 2 weeks or so the bleeding finally started to calm down and It started to more become a yellowish white color. Then two days a go started to spot blood again not heavy but definitely had light bleeding. I figured it was my period. Today all of a sudden now I am bleeding a lot more heavy and even having very small clots of blood too. Is this my period? or still something w/ my c section that I should be worried about? I called my OB's office and they said if I go through a pad an hour to let them know but I was just wondering if anyone else experianced this after their c section?

yeah I bled off and on just like that.  I almost thought that maybe it was my period, same as you, and interestingly I got a regular period 24 days after that.  Just as look as you don't have golf ball size clots and aren't going through a pad an hour it probably is totally normal.  It is also possible you are doing a little more now that you are up and about, which causes the bleeding to become a little worse.  Just watch it.  

I wouldn't worry about it no.  It is pretty normal to bleed off and on.

The same thing happened to me and my OB said I was overdoing it and to take my physical activity down a notch (it's hard I had a 2 year old to chase after my second c/s)  I just limited climbing up and down the stairs and tried to rest more (ya right) the light bleeding stopped after a couple of days.
