Intro...hi!

Hi fellow March 2012 moms!

I read a post last week asking for us newbies to post an intro, so here's mine...

My name is Amy and my husband Brian and I are expecting our first baby on March 24, 2012. We just found out yesterday that we're having a boy (I knew it!), and we couldn't be more thrilled.

A little bit about my journey to mommyhood...I have insulin-resistance-related PCOS, and we weren't sure if we would be able to conceive, so you can imagine our surprise and delight when I turned up pregnant after one month of trying (thank you Metformin!). Aside from a scare early on (low progesterone), my pregnancy has gone smoothly, and now at 32 and a half weeks, I'm happily freaking out about L&D and becoming a new mom.

I found this board a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say, it has been so encouraging to know that you all are going through a lot of the same things I am. I've been mostly lurking so far and soaking in your wisdom...so helpful.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and to thank you for sharing your stories.
