Kinda newb. Question for those who check CP

I checked my cervix last night, it was high, open and soft. We had sex last night, and this morning I checked it, and now it is high, closed and firm. I know your CP can change throughout the day, but I'm just wondering, does your cervix normally close after sex? Thanks!

    Oh, ok. Thanks! I'm just starting to check my CP regularly so I had no idea what to expect.
