I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a girl name that I like. For some reason I love names that end with Ana or Anna. WDYT?

Funny you should mention this...my cousins name is Alana and we just found out she's been working in a strip club hahaha.

I like it though and always have. Alaina is actually on our list of girls names.

Actually, DH is Jewish and wants to find Jewish names, so that's why it's in the running. I love the name Anna - lucky you! I wish it sounded better with our last name, but it just doesn't flow.

How are you pronouncing it? I would pronounce it Uh-law-na, but I know someone who pronounces it Eh-lay-na. And it drives me crazy.

I think Alana is pretty. If we have a girl we are thinking about naming our little one Eliana. I love it, and it's not very common.

I love this name. This was my first choice for a girl, but DH said no way. I think it sounds elegant. Everyone I told about this name being one of my choices loved it. You can also spell it Alannah, like the singer.

I always have a hard time pronouncing Alana. I've known some girls that pronounce it "ah-lon-ah" and some that pronounce it "ah-lain-ah." To me, those are two different names!
