She is one of the nurses who was there the night my son was born and she played a huge role in keeping him alive that night. She was there for his intake and she was his NICU nurse in the weeks to come. She was the first person who let me hold him (when the other nurses had told me I had to wait even longer), the first person to bath him and she even dressed him up as a pumpkin and took pictures to surprise us when we werent sure if he would be home in time for Halloween. She was amazing!
We have kept contact on facebook since he left the hospital. My son is 15 months old now and we had dinner with her last night. She was so happy to see him! After dinner she texted me and said "When people tell me, they dont now how I do what I do, I always tell them about Anthony. I knew he was doing well but it was so amazing to see him in person tonight"
Some people are so special. She is truly a hero.
