Ears

At DS's 15month well baby this morning they told us he has an ear infection.  Great.   Because he's had C Dificile in the past they won't give him an antibiotic yet and want to see if it will clear up on its own.  The doctor said he would suggest just going ahead with tubes because he doesn't want to but him on an antibiotic.

Anyone have any suggestions on how we might clear up the ears on our own?  Poor kid hasn't had any dairy in weeks and we slanted the crib mattress.  Anything else I'm not thinking of?
