I am looking to get a bassinet so that for the first month or so LO can sleep in the room with us but I have came across the pack and plays that have a bassinet attached, after doing some research and looking I'm thinking this is a better way to go since babies aren't in bassinets that long but the pack and play is still used as they get older. What do you ladies think?
I am doing a Winnie The Pooh nursery and found this: https://www.disneybaby.com/products/classic-pooh-pack-n-play-playard-with-newborn-napper/
Re: Bassinet, pack and play, combo....
That was my thought too, I had never seen one with the bassinet in it like link I posted. Thank you!
I am only planning to have my LO sleep in my room for the first month if even that long, I want her to be used to her crib and her own room which is also why I like this idea. I just can't see spending a crazy amount on a bassinet that won't be used for long.
That's backwards. They do not recommend the newborn napper because of the plush, cushy materials used.

We're doing the same thing with the pack'N'play. We got one for about $130 from Target but the bassinet part can hold a baby up to a higgher wieght than some others. Definitley check the weight and age the bassinets can hold to make sure this is better for your dollar...
It's also better because you can use the crib when the baby is big enough. I think the Pack'n'Play goes further down the road with the price tag.
