Thoughts on the name Harmony?

My husband and I were looking through names and he likes Harmony. What are your thoughts? Any middle names beginning with L would be helpful as well. Thanks!

Hate it. And every child I have ever met with this name has been a little terror.

The same goes for the name Serenity.

But you cant base your opinion on a name because of kids of that name being terrors. Just happens to be lack of discipline on the parents part.

I don't hate it, but I don't really have anything nice to say about it either. I also side-eye Cadence and Harmony as a sibset. Sorry.

I actually thought the same thing..... Cadence and Harmony together????? Not so sure!

I don't hate it either, but the it sounds too...cutesy as a sibset...the kids might hate it later!

First thing I thought of was Buffy the Vampire Slayer series...Did I just date myself?  Love the series, hate the name....

That's the same thing I thought! 

I don't think the name sounds right with your other kid's names.

I'm not a big fan of Harmony, but I think it is especially eyeroll-worthy in a sibset with Cadence.

Really super dislike virtue names. I feel like naming a kid Harmony is just asking for a screaming, life-sucking tyrant.

I would find a name that means something you like rather than just naming them the word.

This! I feel like giving these types of names is like trying to project certain personality traits upon one's child.

I think it's kind of silly and trite, in a totally 90's kind of way.

It is a little "meh" to me. I don't have any problem with it, but it's not a name that I would choose.

I do think it fits with your kiddos' names, though. What about...

This.  Not great on it's own, and really bad with a sibling Cadence.

I think it sounds a little too....happy. Like a good name for a My Little Pony or a princess Barbie, but not for an actual person.
