car seat entertainment?

Does anyone know of something that you can attach to the seat in front of baby that lights up or plays music when the baby kicks it?  I'd like something that attaches to avoid impaling her in a crash and so she doesnt toss it.

DD hates the carseat and the screaming is really distracting.  When we had the infant seat we had a little toy bar the strapped onto the handle and that was great but now any toys just get tossed into the abyss.  Its an old car so no dvd player.

 Suggestions?

It's not for kicking, but in my search for a good car mirror I tried the Baby Einstein musical one.  It doesn't work as a mirror because it hook on the headrest, but sits against the seat.  But the music & lights run on a timer & would be pretty entertaining I'd think.  https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Einstein-Lights-Melodies-Mirror/dp/B002C1ABO0

DD doesn't hate the car, but I do have one of those jingly infant seat things (that velcro around the handle) attached on her strap.  That way she can play with it but not drop it.

I just bought the Tiny Love Take Along Arch for when DD switches from the infant seat to her convertible seat. It tightens on to the sides of the seat but you can also put it on a high chair, stroller, etc. Right now I have it on  her high chair to entertain her if I'm doing something in the kitchen and I will tell you that she loves it! I would guess if you were in a bad accident it could come off but in that case, I would have to think that pretty much anything could become a 'projectile'. Also, if your car has a headrest, you can get a case for an Ipad and put on movies. We don't have a DVD player in our car but for our roadtrip this summer we are going to go this route to (hopefully) keep her occupied!

Be careful that anything you put back there is soft.  We had a cute light up/musical car seat arch/bar thing attached to our car seat when my husband took it to the fire department to make sure it was installed properly, and the inspector told us to take it off.  Apparently anything can become a projectile in a crash.
