Is this too sexy for school? (my daughter)

I know school is still a little far off, but I think that it's never too early to start planning. my daughter want to wear this scoop-neck leopard-print sweater dress with high heels. She is not sure if that will be too dressy. She is still going to go for it though.
But i said it is too sexy,not suitable for school.Do u think so?
So, I was wondering... What are you guys planning to wear on your first day? Do people dress up for the first day of school where you go? Do they not? I'm a little curious. I would love to hear what you've got to say!
