I have no idea how quickly babies grow, since this is our first baby. Most of the "infant" gear such as bouncers, swings, etc, that I am researching for our registry have a 25 pound max. weight limit. I'm trying to figure out how old a baby is when he/she reaches 25 pounds. I just don't want to invest baby gear that can only be used for a few months. Any thoughts mommies???
Re: How old is a 25 pound baby?
I had to go look. DD was 23.8lbs at her 12 month checkup. We were long past the stage of bouncer, swing, etc. DD was walking and stuff. Well, I take that back, I had a bouncer out for a baby I was babysitting and she would sit in it every chance she could but, you know, she didn't really FIT into it LoL
Most of that stuff you'll only use for a few months...

Depends on the child. My son is 14 months and a little less than 25 lbs, probably about 22 or 23.
Like other poster said, he got too big for those bouncy toy things by 6 months but he really didn't like his bouncer. He had one of those stand up spin things he used until about 7 months.
It's a GIRL!
My baby boy was 25.5 pounds when he was 8 months old... he's a big baby, I'm happy with his weight because he was 30 inches long, so his weight/height rate is ok.
