Cycle update with new RE

So after 5 days of Femara I finally had my US and BW with the new doctor today---4 follies!!!! I don't think I ever had more than 2 follies with the RMA regimen of stims and shots. On the left side one folli is 18, another is almost an inch and a third is forming. The right side has one small follicle. This is good right? The doc says he may try IUI at the end of this week. Am I wrong to be slightly bummed that he won't do IVF because he thinks it will put my old, fragile eggs through too much trauma?

You are not wrong at all to be bummed about the IVF.  Even though I know DE are the right thing to do for us, I can't help but wish I could try with my old eggs at least once.
