Just a brief histroy first...I have always had bigger boobs, but I am petite. When I was nursing I wore a DD, but before DS I wore size 34D. All that to say, my DS just weaned himself from nursing about 3 weeks ago, (he is 10 mo) and my milk supply is finally starting to diminish. My breasts are smaller than they were before nursing and I'm wondering if and when they will go back to normal? Also, I am eager to buy a good supportive bra (those who nursed understand this) and am wondering how long I should wait to make sure I get the right size. Thoughts?

I'm still nursing so I don't have personal experience to share, but I know ladies whose boobs have gotten bigger after BF and one whose got smaller. I've been led to believe it's likely hereditary (like a lot of other pregnancy body-stuff, haha). If your mom/ladies in your family's boobs got bigger or smaller, you're likely to follow suit. That's what I've heard, anyway :P
