I'm happy to say CD1 is today so I'll go in for baseline on Tuesday and hopefully that cyst is gone and I'll start Follistim on Wed!!!! I'm way pumped after my bestie (cutebride) got such great betas!! I know that has nothing to do with me getting pg, but I've been at this for 3 years now, I'm allowed to be a little irrational. :P

Anyway with any luck I'll be joining you Feb- Trying for a Turkey Baby ladies!!

QOTW: I wash my face when I take a shower in the morning but never again at night (sooo bad, I know). I use some left over Mary Kay stuff I have from when I "tried" to sell it. I also use Loreal moistruizing toner and Garnier facial moisturizer in the morning. My face is soooooo dry! I need to find a good eye cream b/c that is the worst area for being flaky/dry.

Then I just do a quick swipe with powder and that's usually it. I never have been one for much makeup.

For the question, I rotate Yes to Tomatoes and an apricot scrub and use MAC shadows. I don't do a "whole face" just my eyes. Good luck to everyone!!!

QOTW: I used Murad products for my facial cleanser and moisturizing. For makeup I use Laura Mercier products.

Awww Zook - you are the sweetest friend ever!!! I can't imagine having been on this road without you!!

Yes, I did get my BFP - one that looks promising - finally!!!!! After 31 months trying, 2 IVF's, 6 IUI's and 5 losses I am finally pregnant with great betas!!! Take that DOR and MFI!!!

It was our 6th IUI that did it!! I was on follistim and taking co q 10 and omega three supplements. Plus acupunture. Plus abstaining for 3 1/2 days beforehand. Whew!!

I tested the trigger at 9 dpiui, 11 dp trigger and there was still a faint line (just like last month) and so I tested 2 days later and the line was quite a bit darker!! Needless to say I was shocked!!! Went for my beta on Friday and it came back at 164!!! My second beta was today - 14 dpiui - and it came back at 514!!!! Holy shiiiit!!!

I really thought i was out - i am having very few symptoms. I even had my 2nd opinion consult with Dr. Sher at SIRM on Monday night. And i have one set up at CCRM for March 2nd. Hopefully i can cancel that!

My first u/s is scheduled for February 15th. I don't know how I'll wait that long!!!

I know I don't post much on here anymore, but this became my home board 2 years ago and I have made many wonderful friends here. I wish the best for all of you ladies and hope you have success soon!

I head in for monitoring appointment tomorrow on CD 9. Tonight is my last (hopefully) Bravelle inject. I am not liking the side effects of this one! Hopefully everything looks good and we can proceed with IUI #2 later in the week.

QOTW: I wash my face morning and night and use a night cream even during the day. I have found the cream helps my dry skin and my make up looks better!

Update: DH was referred to a specialist by his urologist based on b/w results. We are going to that appt Tuesday and I'm also getting my CD21 b/w done Tuesday to check progesterone levels. Hopefully I responded to clomid this time, I sure felt more twinges than I ever have the last couple of days.

QOTW: I use Proactiv in the morning/night, but lightening up on that day by day. I don't know what I'll move on to, just a basic cleanser and moisturizer. I don't do much makeup either.

Not much to update here... I switched OBs... and asked for a referral to an RE. Waiting on the appointment now. DH and I have agreed to consider IUI.. and I opened the foster/adoption discussion again this morning. He's always been open to it. Took me a little longer...

QOTW: I dont really have a beauty regimen.. If I wash my face, I do it in the shower... usually with an acne cleaner such as Clean & Clear or Clearisil (even though I don't really have acne to speak of)... and finish it off with a similar moisturizing lotion in the winter.

Treatments: Metformin, Prednisone, Clomid + TI, IUI #1 (12/28) was a bust due to low sperm count and low testosterone. Urologist thinks it's due to DH having pneumonia and put us on a treatment break for the next two months until his numbers increase or our plan changes. We are trying on our own until then, but the only medication I'm taking is Metformin.

QOTW: I use Clarins moisturizers and bare essentials make-up (if and when I do wear makeup) I'm a total slacker at that!

QOTW: I'm a bad female in that I don't do crap to keep my skin clear. I'm really bad about washing my face, too. I usually get a small pimple or two at o and at AF but otherwise I have clear skin. Make up though I use daily. Cannot go without it!

I did get an LPD dx, so that's the only change to the above info. I had my first IUI yesterday. Started progesterone supps today.... not loving that, but if it does the job, I LOVE IT.

QOTD: I don't really do much other than face wash, lotion, and eye liner each morning.

Today I am 8 DPO and the mind games are in full force. At 6 DPO I had really weird cramping that was more twinges and sharp pains. The only other time I had pains like that was during my HSG. My chart is pretty too. Though not completely clear because I was really sick right before O and was running a fever of almost 102. I'm really hopeful this cycle. As far as beauty regime I do foundation, mascara and blush. Sometimes I do eyeshadow sometimes I don't. Sorry for formating I'm on my phone.

I am 6dp3dt. I had the tiniest bit of pink spotting today when I wiped. I did not have my hopes up until I saw that. Now I have a feeling I'm going to be let down. Ugh.

QOTW: I was my face with Advanced Proactiv. It's the only thing I have tried that keeps my face clear. I don't wear much make up unless we are going somewhere fancy. I just use Merle Norman powder, lip gloss, CG eye liner and mascara. It has to be a special occasion for me to break out the eye shadow or blush.

QOTW- I wash my face at night (sometimes I skip Embarrassed ) with B. Kamin's vegetable cleanser and I use Murad moisturizer. Before I put on makeup I use Murad moisturizer with SPF and then for makeup I use a mixture of Mac, Bobbi Brown and Dior.

Today I am 9dpiui and I am not going to test at all. My beta is Friday so I'll just hold out until then. I haven't had great feelings for this cycle since the beginning. I guess that's why I'm not anxious to test. If this cycle is a bust, we will be moving onto IUI #3 right away if my body permits!

QOTW: I use Neutrogena's complete acne system. Follistim wreaks havoc on my face so the acne system really keeps my skin clear. I also moisturize with Olay complete twice a day. I'm a total make up girl. I have make up on all of the time.

QOTW: All I use is a Clean and Clear cleanser, I don't normally wear make up, but if I do it is just Mac powder, blush and mascara. For my hair, I just blow-dry it and flat iron it.

Update: I had my WTF appointment on Thursday and the plan for IVF 2 is two trigger shots at once and replace Bravelle with the most synthetic form of the horomone. Also, follicles will be flushed with sterile water to try and get the hard to reach eggs. The plan is to start BCP in May, but after some serious thought about timing I am going to see if we can start in April.

QOTW: No beauty regiment. I wash my face in the morning and evening with soap, that is all.

I am waiting to O. I am hoping to O within the next few days, fingers crossed! I am scheduling my H's SA next week, he's on board but I just don't think he will ever make the appointment himself.

As far as my beauty routine...I don't really have one. Shame on me! Embarrassed I use Aveeno face wash and moisturizer and drugstore cosmetics! I am too tight for name brand cosmetics!

I'm 8dpo and praying for a miracle. Other than that, waiting for DH 3rd, tie breaker S/A. 2nd opinion RE is Thursday and DH will have testosterone testing that day too after being on Clomid for two weeks. Hopefully we will get some good news out of all of it. I hate IF!

QOTW: What is your beauty regimen? What products do you use? I don't have a "regimen" but I use purpose liquid facial cleanser in the shower which is the only thing that seems to keep my face clear. I also use a moisturizer but not everyday, I should be better at that. As for make-up, I only use occasionally, Bare Minerals. I love it.

Congratulations cute!!!

Well thanks to 5 massive cysts during my cd 3 u/s, I am now on bcp for 2 weeks. I head back in for another u/s check on my birthday 2/7 to see if they've resolved, if they have then I will stop bcp and wait for AF then its onto IUI #7, second with Bravelle.

DH and I actually sat down and had the IVF talk. We have decided to do 2 more IUIs and then move to IVF. We will be setting up our IVF consult during DH's February break (which will probably be some time during my 2ww for IUI #7).

QOTW: I wash my face every night, whether in the shower with apricot scrub or just warm water its always watched before bed. I moisturize with Garnier face lotion. I am not huge on makeup but if I am leaving the house I always have a little on- foundation, eye shadow and mascara.

QOTW: I'm a bad female in that I don't do crap to keep my skin clear. I'm really bad about washing my face, too. I usually get a small pimple or two at o and at AF but otherwise I have clear skin. Make up though I use daily. Cannot go without it!

Update: I didn't make it to testing. AF showed up way early 10 dpo. I start Femara again tonight and hopefully will be convincing RE of adding progesterone and/or trigger when I go for monitoring apt. Nurse saw no problem in my 10 day lp despite my insistence that this was too short. ugh

QOTW- I start of with my clarisonic face brush- It's awesome! Then I use a variety of makeup products- MAC and Avon mostly. I don't wear too much on the face; just tinted moisturizer, powder and blush. I like a natural like look but wear a lot of make up ha

Congrats cutebride!

I hope everyone had a great weekend - it went by too fast for me. We get to sit down with our RE on Tuesday as a follow-up from my lap. I'm SO READY to get things rolling again! We've been on a break since November. I'm hoping to get this party started as soon as AF shows up!

QOTW: I just use some neutrogena moisturizer daily and then some loose powder, also neutrogena. Not much of a "beauty" regimen here

I am 4 dpiui and started progesterone supps last night. My beta isn't until February 8, which seems sooooo far away.

My beauty regimen...I don't think I have much of one. I have pretty long hair, so I only wash it about twice a week, and I just started using DevaCurl Heaven in Hair treatment on it about once every week or two because it gets so dry. I really like it!

Nothing to update here. I use Murad acne line so every morning I wash my face in the shower then use the rest of the products in the kit. At night I'll use the Murad vitamin c skin line. Once my cleanser is out though I will try the oil cleansing method. I wear makeup on the weekends.

Update: Just filled my script for femara. AF should be here in the next day or two. Not sure if we will be able to do IUI this cycle because ovulation might happen while we're on vacation.

QOTW: I don't have much of a beauty regimen. I use olay products for my face. I don't use a lot of makeup, just a little eyeliner and powder.

Not much of an update - still on bcps for IVF#3. Two more weeks until stims.

QOTW: I use bare minerals on my face. I put my make on quickly - I don't spend too much time on it. I use cetaphil cleaners and I have a clarasonic that I use occasionally.

DH tested negative for CF (thank goodness!). That was the only thing in the way of our Clomid + IUI coming up on the cycle starting ~Feb 7.

This is the first cycle since TTC that we have had 0% chance. It's kind of nice not worrying about it. At the same time, I'm thankful that I Oed early and this should only be a 23 day cycle.

QOTW: I dont really have a beauty regimen. I wash my face in the shower and occasionally moisturize. I wear very neutral makeup when I dress up, which isn't very often anymore.

OMG Cutebride!! I missed your BFP post but this is so exciting and inspiring! So happy for you!

Update: As I updated on Wednesday; IUI#3 was canceled when they only found two sperm in DH's sample. It's suspected it's due to strong steroids he was on when in the hospital in October (Fx please, please let it be the dang drugs). He will have a repeat S/A in late Feb, and a new/better MFI Uro appointment in early March. Hope to cycle again in early March if S/A comes back at his levels similar to last March (when after nine months on vitamins was 40-70mil per sample). For now I'm hanging back a bit from the board but still rooting strong for you ladies and hope to be past the anger stage soon.

QOTW: I wash my face with an Oil of Olay product & use their toner in the morning. I'm bad and almost never wash my face at night. I use mainly covergirl and Maybeline products for makeup (except for fancy eye makeup & gifts I've gotten from mom of Este Lauder).

QOTW- I use an exfoliation body scrub, cream oil lotion, a conbination of Bobbi Brown, Mary Kay, and Clinique Makeup. I use Shuga Volumizing Mousse in my hair, which I LOVE.

I am 7dp5dt and can't wait for my beta on Friday. I don't currently have any real symptoms, so will be curious to see the results.

QOTW - My skin was pretty clear before getting off BC and starting these fertility meds. Now something new is popping up every week. Ugh, IF sucks! Anyway, I moisturize in the morning and at night. I work from home 3 days a week, so won't wear any makeup unless I'm going out. When I do go out I wear foundation, powder, bronzer, and mascara. If I'm really going out, then I'll throw in some eyeliner and eye shadow.

small update: will probably start provera late next week if i don't O by then to jump start my period (yay CD 41), and then its on to round 1 of clomid days 5-9 for me. sitting down with the RE on feb 9th to ask a ton of questions that i didn't have the foresight to ask at my last appt before i start taking it, however, which is why i'm putting off starting the provera. feeling very discouraged right now that the met didn't help as much as i had hoped.

qotw: i wash my face in the morning and at night (usually...) with neutrogena, sometimes moisturize if the dryness is really bad, and then eye liner, light shadow, mascara and blush for work. my acne is horrible (thank you pcos!) no matter what i do to it, so i've reached a point of laziness and giving up with it.
