~::Newbies & Lurkers, Please Read::~
Hi there!
I am glad to meet you, and sorry you need to be here. The ladies here are amazing. Super fantastic. Top Notch!
You are welcome to lurk as much as you like for as long as you like. If you are able to get anything from reading other posts and that's all you want to do, that's great. Good luck to you on your TTC/IF journey.
Chime in occasionally even if you don't have anything helpful to add - that's okay too - and welcome!
However, you have to understand that you can't just pop in every few months for one post and consider yourself a part of the community - entitled to come on here and gloat about your success when you get a BFP, or expect anyone to be excited or happy for you. We can't care about you if we don't know you. And it sometimes hurts to hear about other people's successes when we, ourselves, haven't gotten there yet.
Another member said recently - this is not an advice column, it's a support community. We're here for each other, and to help each other through rough times, but we're not here to serve as an TTC and IF encyclopedia.
This is not to discourage anyone from joining the board. Quite the opposite; this is to encourage you to join us as a contributing member, but to think before you post something that could be offensive.
Start with an intro if you haven't done one already, and post regularly. Sure, life sometimes gets busy and you can't get on here every day, but surely you can make time to send a quick reply to a post every few days to keep yourself current and known to the board.
*** If you have any questions regarding success with treatments, your post may be better suited for Pregnant After IF or Success After IF. Many of the ladies here have not had a BFP and won't be able to help as much as those who have graduated.
Tips:
Thank you, and enjoy your stay!

Can I ask one tiny little favor? The sentence below is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Could we change it up, make it a little friendlier? If I'm crazy and hormonal, just let me know- but I figured I would throw out the idea!
If you ask us if we've had success with something, we'll basically tell you to get lost.

LOL yes, What should we change it to? Im open to anything..as long as it gets the point across
Haha, thanks! Maybe we could just say: If you have any questions regarding success with treatments, your post may be better suited for Pregnant After IF or Success After IF. Many of the ladies here have not had a BFP and won't be able to help as much as those who have graduated.
Or something to that effect!

Yes Yes! I know, believe me, lol.
I've read it a hundred times. It just wasn't really, uh, up for debate before.
