One for the Money discussion

Who else saw it this weekend? I liked it, but didn't love it. I thought Katherine Heigl did better than I was expecting, and I was happy they tamed down Benito. I thought Morelli and Ranger were yummy but I wanted more of them.

All in all I think they did well with fitting everything into 2 hours. I wonder if they're making more...

    Movies so rarely live up to the books, I've given up. It got lukewarm reviews here, though the reviewer loved Debbie Reynolds.

    Katherine Heigle grew on me - I really didn't think I'd like her as Stephanie but by the end I thought she was ok.  Agree about the toning down of the Benito character!

    I expected Ranger to be bigger in general but I'm ok with the choice ;).  Morelli wasn't quite what I expected but I don't know why - looked older than expected maybe?  

    Overall, probably wasn't worth the $9 ticket (would have felt better going to a matinee or to the cheap movie night) but I'll still go see whatever sequels they do :)

    It almost seemed to end too soon but that is much better than when movies drag on
